Weddings
Weddings are one of our favorite events! Please read below for some general information.

Reserving your date and deposit:
It is recommended that you reserve your wedding date as soon as possible. A $100 deposit is required to hold your date. This deposit is only refundable up until 60 days before your wedding. Changes in wedding date will be accommodated if our schedule allows. This deposit will be applied towards your picture order.
Fees:
Photographer fees are charged by the hour. The fee is $75 per hour. There is a two hour minimum but you decide how long the photographer stays. Typical weddings are four to six hours if you include photos before the wedding and a couple of hours at the reception. There is also an additional one hour charge for post wedding processing of the files and website creation. The photographer fees and one hour charge for post-processing are due to be paid the day of the wedding. (For example, five hours of photographer fees plus one hour of post-processing equals six times $75 or $450 due the day of the wedding.)
Proof viewing and selection:
All pictures are taken digitally with professional quality 6 and 8 mega-pixel cameras. Typically, the pictures are used to create a website for proof viewing and selection. The website is usually created within a couple of days of the wedding. This allows the pictures to be viewed very quickly after the wedding. We typically take a large number of pictures during a wedding (usually in the 500-800 range) so creating paper proofs of this many pictures is not practical. Picture proof books are available at an additional charge if the website doesn’t meet your needs. There is also an inexpensive proof book option that includes wallet sized pictures printed eight to a page using a color laser printer. These pages are bound for your convenience and cost $1 per page. Your picture order is selected from the website or optional proof book and submitted for printing. Pictures are usually delivered within two weeks. Rush orders can be delivered more quickly if needed.
Color or Black & White pictures:
Since all images are digital, they can easily be printed as color or black and white prints. This provides a nice option for those who may be interested in having some black and white pictures printed. Prices are the same for color or black and white proofs.
Other options:
If you hire us for your wedding, we will provide a free sitting fee for your engagement pictures. These can be taken in studio or outside (weather permitting.) These pictures can be used for announcements or whatever you like. I’ve also had people use these pictures to print wallet sized prints to be used as decorations at each place setting at the reception.
